Inlay Class:

This two-day class will cover several aspects inlay.  The historical significance of the various designs will be covered as part of this course.  Students will have the opportunity to practice the basic procedures of each design presented.  Students will learn the basic principles and tools used for the following designs: stringing, compass star inlay, line and berry design and gouge cut inlay. 


Ability Level: Beginner to intermediate

Marquetry Class:

In this two-day class, the art of marquetry will be demonstrated and practiced.  Students will learn to cut marquetry by hand as well as by powered scroll saw. 


No experience is necessary for either of these classes, however a basic understanding of woodworking is suggested.
