For individuals who have completed the Introduction to Furniture-Making class or the equivalent, we have created a personal project-based class. Students in this class receive one-on-one instruction in the morning, and use of the shop throughout the afternoon with access to instructor availability should questions arise. If you have an idea of what you would like to make next, give us a call so we can discuss possibilities. We do have several plans available if you need some guidance. Due to too many variables, we cannot guarantee that your project will be completed in the scheduled time, but make every effort to extend shop availability should you need it. You can order your hardwood from us with advance notice, or bring your own. If you are bringing wood that you have in storage, we recommend that you bring it to us at least two weeks in advance of the class to ensure that it has time to acclimate to our shop, to avoid wood movement while building.
