Service Description
In this three-day turning workshop, students will be introduced to the proper and safe use of woodturning lathes and practice both spindle-turning and faceplate (bowl) turning. Students will be introduced to common turning tools, and will learn how to use and sharpen them properly. Example projects include: honey dippers, candle sticks, rolling pins, and wooden bowls. Each day runs from 10 am to 5 pm, with an hour break for lunch. We provide all the materials and PPE you need, so come with sturdy shoes & clothes you don't mind getting dusty. If you already have some tools, feel free to bring them if you'd like advice on sharpening or reshaping them.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made up to seven days before the beginning of the course will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made within a week of the course beginning will receive a 50% refund.
