Intermediate Turning: June 13-16

Service Description

Prerequisite: Intro to Turning at VWS Caught the turning bug? Looking to move away from the same old bowls and spindles, but not sure where to start? Join us for this 4-day exploration of more advanced turning techniques! Topics covered will include lidded boxes & eccentric goblets. We'll also discuss some of the myriad specialized tools on the market, plus options for reshaping tools you already have. We'll provide all the materials and tools you need, but we do recommend bringing your own gouges if you have some already. Each day runs from 10 am to 5 pm, with an hour break for lunch. Please keep in mind that turning involves a lot of standing, so wear comfortable close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting full of shavings.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made up to seven days before the beginning of the course will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made within a week of the course beginning will receive a 50% refund.
