Learn to masterfully execute & create elegant, and beautifully proportioned lidded containers with an emphasis on fine turned detail to develop a personal eye for traditional design that will establish a basis for creating both individual containers, as well as for making them in a series. -Learn how grain orientation, and specific body ergonomics, and finesse greatly affects overall tool usage, and application. -Learn how to design, and develop an eye for producing well-proportioned containers. -Learn to develop beginning-advanced tool control & cutting execution. -Learn to define and properly use and select a wide array of traditional woodturning tools. -Learn to develop skill in sharpening. -Develop confidence at the lathe. -Learn to apply a fine finish.
